Jess + Taylor Summer Workshops 2014 | August 4th

What an incredible day I had meeting Taylor and Jess for their 2014 Summer Workshop, making new friends, and growing in our art.  It was a humbling, encouraging, and oh so fun day learning and nurturing our passions.  The venders truly made this experience more gorgeous than I ever imagined!  I cannot thank everyone enough for this beautiful day!  xxxoo

Sneed + Etheredge Nuptials | Clyde, Texas

Stacey and Dustin are near and dear to my heart.  We all met when Stacey and I were college roommates at Texas Tech [Wreck'em].  Dustin lived across the street.  We were all outside one afternoon with our pups when we struck up a conversation.  Stacey left soon after to go to work.  Little did she know that Dustin had come by later to ask for her number; he was smitten at first sight.  This was the beginning of a beautiful love story.

Their ceremony and reception was held at a new venue in Clyde, Texas, The Grove at Denton Valley, in an Oak tree grove.  It was splendid.  Who knew west Texas had such a little piece of heaven hidden; it felt as though I was deep in the Hill Country.

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family in early April.  April showers almost prevented our session from occurring, but the skies parted and it was beautiful.  West Texas doesn't get many bluebonnets, especially compared to the Texas Hill Country.  We were able to find a beautiful patch to get a few spring shots.  After a long cold winter, it was refreshing to see such greenery coming out around the community.  Micah and Aimee were such sports as we found the perfect locations.  Their little Catherine never stopped grinning!  I had a such a wonderful time meeting and wandering the town.  ENJOY a few of my favorites...
